Now we
discuss about the history of cricket in India. So let’s start
History of cricket in India
Cricket
is firstly introduce to the world by the
British or ‘Angraj’ in our hindi language. In past time our country India is a
Canoniyal of Britishers. So cricket in India is introduced by the British. They
also introduce cricket in many other country like West Indies, Jimbambay, South
Africa, Jambiya, also in Australia etc. So England is known as the ‘Father of
Cricket’.
I'll try to give you one more information that The first ever international cricket match was played between USA and Canada in 1844.
First cricket match played by Indian cricket team
The Indian cricket team made its Test cricket debut in 1931. This is a big thing for us beacuse in 1931 India is not a Independent country. India is under british rule but we did it bro. and till now we are the best team of world cricket. We are two times world cup champion dear. This is very proud thigs for us. The team won the ODI Cricket World Cup in 1983 and 2011. In other major International
victories, Team India won the Twenty20 World Cup in 2007 and ICC Champions Trophy in 2013. in 1983 great Kapil dev is our captain and in 2007 and 2011 our favorite great Ms dhoni is our captain.
History of Indian Cricket Team
Cricket was introduced to India by European merchant sailors in the 18th century, and the first cricket club was established in 1792. India's national cricket team did not play its first Test match until 25 June 1932 at Lord's, becoming the sixth team to be granted test cricket status. From 1932 India had to wait until 1952, almost 20 years for its first Test victory. In its first fifty years of international cricket, India was one of the weaker teams, winning only 35 of the first 196 Test matches it played. The team, however, gained strength in the 1970s with the emergence of players such as Gavaskar, Viswanath, Kapil Dev, and the Indian spin quartet.
India won its first World Cup in 1983, under the captaincy of Kapil Dev. The '80s and '90s also saw the
debut of Tendulkar, Ganguly, Dravid, and Kumble, considered to be among the greatest
Indian players.
Ganguly's, captaincy is considered to be the turning point of Indian cricket as it saw great success and became one of the dominant side of the sport, followed by the captaincy of MS Dhoni under whom India won its second World Cup in 2011, the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007, and Champions Trophy in 2013. Currently, Virat Kohli is the captain in all formats.

Indian cricket team jersey
The Indian
limited-overs jerseys have always been primarily blue. The jerseys have been
made in different shades of blue. It has also had a few short designs in either
white or orange colours. The players wore an away jersey only once
against England cricket team in the World Cup 2019 that took place in
England. It was primarily a dark blue jersey with an outline of orange. You all
also see that probably India is the only team in cricket whose jersey is so
